About Denlow Public School

Denlow Public School is a Kindergarten to Grade 5 school located in the York Mills community. The school first opened in 1970. Denlow serves 370 students representing over 20 languages. Approximately 20% of the students speak English as a Second Language. Denlow Public School is a triple track school in that we house a regular program, a junior Gifted program and a junior Extended French program. The gifted and extended French programs draw from the wider community for students in grades 4 and 5. We also house Denlow Child Care, a community based program.

Denlow Public School is located in Banbury-Don Mills

Banbury-Don Mills is a mixed-use neighbourhood in the North York district. It was developed to be a self-supporting "new town" and was at the time located outside of Toronto proper. Consisting of residential, commercial and industrial sub-districts, it was planned and developed by private enterprise. In several ways it became the blueprint for postwar suburban development in Toronto and contemporary residential neighbourhoods.
