East A contains three neighbourhoods. Kilally Valley is a neighbourhood located in the city’s northeast corner. The neighbourhood follows the curve of the Thames River and is bounded to the west, south, and north by the Kilally Meadows Environmentally Significant Area. The majority of homes in the neighbourhood were built in the early 21st century and consist mainly of single detached homes, along with some townhouses. Kilally Valley has easy access to the beautiful trails of the Thames Valley Parkway. Kipps Lane is a neighbourhood in the northeast end of London. There is a diverse mix of housing styles, with many single detached homes built in the 1950s, some newer detached homes built towards the end of the 20th century, townhomes and row housing and apartment buildings. Ridgeview Heights is a neighbourhood in northeast London with many long-time and multi-generational residents. The area has a mix of housing styles including side splits, ranch, raised ranch, and bungalows. The neighbourhood’s main shopping area is on the corner of Huron and Highbury, with lots of great retail options, a grocery store, a pharmacy, banks, restaurants and a gym. Most evenings you will find people out going for walks with their dogs, kids or just themselves.

East A

Old North (East B) is located between the Downtown area and Western University. Its character is defined by the Thames River, which forms its western and northern boundary, its historic stately homes, mature trees and its proximity to the university. The neighbourhood is mostly made up of single detached homes mixed with the occasional apartment building. Lots of families, older adults and students call Old North home. The nearest commercial zones are at the corner of Richmond and Oxford and along Adelaide between Huron and Kipps Lane. There are also a few small businesses mixed throughout the residential area of the neighbourhood. The Old North neighbourhood has many great parks. There are three neighbourhoods within the boundaries of Old North: St. George-Grosvenor, Bishop Hellmuth, and Broughdale.

East B

East C overlaps the northern part of Carling Heights, an eclectic neighbourhood, best known for the large Canadian Forces Base located on the southern edge of the neighbourhood, which is home to the Royal Canadian Regiment Museum. The neighbourhood contains some late 1800s farmhouses, post war single and semi-detached homes, row housing, and large apartment buildings. There are two main commercial zones on Oxford at Gammage and on Adelaide from Cheapside to Huron.

East C

Huron Heights (East D) is a large neighbourhood in the northeast end of London with many schools, parks and shopping areas. The major commercial area lies along the stretch of Highbury Ave. between Huron and Oxford Streets. The homes in the neighbourhood are mostly post-war bungalows, three storey walk-ups, larger apartment buildings, and some newer single detached homes north of Huron St. There are many parks and recreation opportunities in Huron Heights. The Stronach Community Recreation Centre is a hub for the neighbourhood.

East D

East E is mostly comprised of the London Airport, and some surrounding commercial, industrial, and rural areas.

In addition to being a historical residential neighbourhood, Downtown (East F) has traditionally been the retail and business centre of London. Over the past few decades, Downtown has transitioned to more of an entertainment district, while maintaining a high population of residents. Budweiser Gardens (home of the London Knights and London Lightning), Museum London, the London Music Hall, the Grand Theatre, the Covent Garden Market, the RBC Place London, several art galleries, and many of London's best restaurants and bars are found in the Downtown. It serves as London’s Central Business District with many tall office towers filled with financial services, tech and communications companies, government, law firms and the regional court house. The area also serves as a central hub for the London Transit Commission and contains the Intercity Bus and Via Rail train station. Both of London’s post-secondary education institutions, Western University and Fanshawe College, have a presence in the neighbourhood.

East F

East G

East H is part of the Argyle neighbourhood, containing the Pottersburg area. There is a range of housing styles in the area, mostly built during the post war period of the 1950s and early 1960s. There are many single family homes in the neighbourhood, along with small walk-up apartments, townhomes, and duplexes. There is a large commercial corridor along Dundas St., with many shops, services, and restaurants. Argyle Mall is also located in the east end of the neighbourhood and is an important retail and transit centre for the area.

East H

East I covers the eastern part of Argyle. Nelson Park is located within the Argyle neighbourhood in east London. There is a wide range of housing in this neighbourhood, including single detached homes, duplexes, townhouses, three-storey walk-up apartments, as well as a mobile home park. The neighbourhood sits just east of Argyle Mall, which is a main transit hub and commercial centre for residents. There are two quiet parks in the neighbourhood. Trafalgar Heights is a small neighbourhood within the Argyle area in the east end of London. There is a mix of housing in the neighbourhood, ranging from single detached homes and duplexes built from the 1970s to the early 2000s, townhouse complexes, and small apartment buildings. There is a small shopping plaza at Clarke Rd. and Trafalgar St., and the Argyle Mall commercial area is just north of the neighbourhood.

East I

Located along London's eastern edge south of the airport, East J is mostly rural, with pockets of homes and commercial/industrial areas.
