Our School

Canada Christian Academy is a private school in Ontario, founded in 1998 as a response to the encouragement of a number of parents. Since then the school has grown and expanded. Our small size classes and individual attention to student needs provides many opportunities at all levels to develop their God-given abilities and talents. Parent interaction is encouraged through volunteer opportunities (classroom helper, field trip helper, hot lunch program coordinator, and so on). Our staff are nurturing, qualified and attentive to the needs of the students. Through mentoring and loving supervision, our teachers inspire and reward success for all our students.

Teaching is more than a career. It is a chance to affect a student’s life for the better and being able to guide them to wherever God wishes them to be. As teachers, we are an influence in your child’s life that will affect their outlook on moral standards, relationships, and at life as a whole. We not only encourage them to learn, but to give their very best in whatever they do, and to do it not for their benefit, but for God’s glory. This becomes our greatest desire as we watch each student develop day-by-day. Becoming a great teacher should not involve choices such as high salaries, good benefits, or summers off – but rather the satisfaction of seeing each student you have thrive in whatever they accomplish. Putting students ahead of yourself so that they can have a wonderful school experience filled with fun, friendships, and achievements. It means going the extra mile to help just one student after class to grasp a concept that will change their lives when they utilize it in their career, College or University. Teaching means caring; even when we may not feel like doing it, and showing it to all students without preference!

Every teacher at Canada Christian Academy does all that and more. We do it because we want to; not because we’re paid to. Daily we put 100% into every class, even if there are only three students, while some of us balance more than one job. Making sure every student understands, overcomes their difficulties, and puts their best foot forward towards tomorrow.
