The Northwood Park neighbourhood is just northwest of Downtown Brampton, and is close to downtown's shopping and dining areas, as well as the main GO transit station. It is a predominantly residential neighbourhood, with a small industrial/commercial area in the northeast. Northwood Park is a well-established, fairly dense neighbourhood, with many crescents and courts. It also features a number of parks and schools. Homes are a mostly 2-storey, large single-detached homes and semi-detached homes, and townhome complexes.
