MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of the St. Roch Catholic Secondary School is to help all members of our school family to love God and our neighbor and to work for justice and peace for all. We also foster an environment where students come to have a love for learning as we develop our imaginations, our creativity and our reasoning skills. We want our students to discover their place in the community and in the universe and to grow into contributing members of society who live a life of love and service of others.

CATHOLIC FOCUS

St. Roch Catholic Secondary School is a place where all cultures come to encounter the Catholic culture founded upon Jesus Christ. Everything we do here is modeled on the redeeming mercy, forgiveness and love of Jesus Christ and this is evidenced in the full range of academic programs in grades 9-12, our specialized Regional Arts program and our Planning for Independence program. The thread of the Holy Spirit weaves its way throughout our programming, both curricular and extra-curricular, creating a tapestry of discernment and learning which allows all of our students to experience God “fully alive”. Our community is supportive, inclusive and respectful of its members because it is founded on Gospel values and our students have a multitude of opportunities to learn and grow into the people God created them to be. At St. Roch, students will encounter faith formation which leads directly to them achieving the Catholic Graduate Expectations.
