Arnott Charlton Public School opened in 1979. The student population from kindergarten to grade 5 is diverse, with over 20 different languages spoken by the school community. Staff, students and community work together to create an inclusive environment that helps students reach their full potential, with the diversity of the staff and students recognized and celebrated in classroom programs and special events. Staff is committed to meeting the needs of all students to help achieve academic success while developing caring and nurturing relationships.

Arnott Charlton is focused on fostering a positive school climate by reinforcing safe and respectful student behaviours through a variety of proactive strategies which include bullying prevention and intervention initiatives. There are also numerous student leadership opportunities and extracurricular activities that engage students and enhance school spirit. As part of our School Success goals, students demonstrate the character attributes of being caring, co-operative, honest, inclusive, respectful and responsible through their daily learning and participation in sports, choir and clubs.

Students are also caring and responsible citizens with their involvement in charitable events, environmental activities and through their learning with the use of technology.
