About Aloma Crescent PS

Aloma Crescent Public School was the first school built in Bramalea in 1961 to accommodate many families in the newly developed “A” section. The Aloma school community continues to welcome new and diverse families and provides a positive and nurturing environment. All students benefit from our committed staff, who foster enthusiasm for learning while meeting individual student academic needs. Aloma students enjoy a strong school and home partnership, sharing the responsibility of developing respectful, caring and confident students.

Aloma Crescent PS is located in Avondale

The Avondale neighbourhood is in south central Brampton, and the southern part was the first residential development phase for then-Bramalea, in the 1970s. The "A" section featured street names beginning with A, and subsequent sections followed alphabetically, so other areas in the northwest, north, and northeast parts of this neighbourhood have street names beginning with B and C. Avondale features park lands and trails, schools, and a commercial plaza, as well as an industrial and business area in the south. Housing is a mix of single-detached homes in various styles, semi-detached homes, 2 high-rise buildings, and townhome complexes.
