About Our Lady of Providence ES

Our Lady of Providence School is an elementary school of approximately 580 students, of diverse social and ethnic backgrounds, from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 8. As well, our school is one of the sites for the French Immersion Program. Our school population generally reflects the socio-economic mix found within Brampton. Most of the surrounding community consists of single family dwelling homes situated in an area known as Springdale, on the northern edge of the city of Brampton. Our school is equipped with a double gym, a stage, a good size library, and a beautiful forum area in the centre of the school. Our Lady of Providence School was established to support Catholic parents in their responsibility for the spiritual, religious, moral, academic and physical needs of their children in accordance with the teachings of the Church.

Our Lady of Providence ES is located in Sandringham-Wellington

The Sandringham-Wellington neighbourhood is a large area in north Brampton, just south of Sandringham-Wellington North. It is east of Heart Lake and the Heart Lake Conservation Area. This is a newer, and ongoing, residential development, with development beginning in the late 1990s and early 2000s. The area features schools, park lands, natural woodlands along the river, and trails. Housing is a mix of large, 2-storey single-detached homes and semi-detached homes, and townhome complexes. The area is home to the Civic Hospital, a long-term care centre, a wellness centre, as well as pockets of convenient commercial and retail areas. Sandringham-Wellington has easy access to Highway 410.
