Eastbourne Drive Public School has been serving the community for over 43 years. Our mission is to create a positive, dynamic learning environment which encourages growth and compassion. Our vision is through engaging programs, we will produce an empowered community. We value and respect the rights, beliefs, property and feelings of others.

Eastbourne is a friendly and welcoming place. We strive to encourage leadership among staff and students. Through innovative teamwork, we continue to learn and apply reflective teaching to enhance student learning.

Eastbourne is unique in its student population and is composed of two distinct neighbourhoods – the bused students from Airport Road and Bovaird - and those from the local neighbourhood.

We take pride in having a team of dedicated and caring staff with various backgrounds working with a school council that represents the diverse culture of our two communities. Our Readiness Centre reaches out and attracts many families from multi-ethnic backgrounds, creating a strong community feeling in our school.

Eastbourne students are engaged in academic learning and are also happily involved in extracurricular activities. On any, given day, students can be found playing various sports in the gym at lunch. With a strong focus in music, students are provided with the opportunity to join either the primary or junior choir, or bucket drumming. Staff and students love coming to school at Eastbourne!
