Fairlawn Public School opened September 2012. We moved from our holding school location to our new building in September 2013. We are a kindergarten to grade 8 school with both English and French Immersion streams. Our English stream is Full Day Kindergarten to grade 8. Our French Immersion stream is grade 1 to grade 5. We are a professional learning community focused on student success. We believe a positive school climate is essential to student success and we will work collaboratively with all our partners to ensure we foster a positive school climate. We are committed to inspiring success, confidence and hope in each of our students.
The Vales of Castlemore residential neighbourhood is in northeast Brampton. Vales of Castlemore North is to its immediate north. The West Humber River flows through this neighbourhood, and there are large forested areas, ponds, trails, and green spaces. This is an upscale neighbourhood, featuring some mansions on large properties as well as large, 2-storey, single-detached homes on large lots, that were built into the 2000s.
