The school has a dedicated School Community Council (SCC), combining members from past BPS and TCPS parents, as well as new members. This group meets several times during the year to look for ways to contribute to the students’ school experience. 

At Beaver River P.S., we are committed to keeping a small community feel to our school with strong home school connections, as well as connections to our community. We are happy to partner with the local Lions Club, Legion, and Fair Board to collaboratively instill strong community roots within our students.

We as staff are very committed to getting to know our students on an individual level and tailor learning opportunities to students’ strengths and interests inside and outside the classroom. Our vision is to value every student holistically. We strive to ensure students feel valued, heard, and that they belong and that their education is a gateway to a successful future. 

As much as we utilize current and evolving technology, we maintain a value on environmental stewardship, essential to our rural and agricultural community roots, and align our school focus of continued professional development in the areas of pedagogy, best practices, and resource use in support of Indigenous Rights and Human Rights within the classroom and school community.
