Our School

​Beaverton is located on the east shore of Lake Simcoe, at the mouth of the Beaver River. The original school building was constructed in 1924 and additions were opened in 1965 and 1987. Some of our parents and grandparents are former students of Beaverton Public School. As well, there are many new families who have made Beaverton their home and contribute positively to Beaverton Public School.

Parent

Parents and guardians are welcome and appreciated at Beaverton Public School. Some volunteer in classrooms and assist in other capacities. A number of parents participate as members of the Beaverton P.S. School Community Council. The S.C.C. meets regularly, supporting and advising our staff regarding school initiatives, and organizing fund-raising projects to support student curricular and extra-curricular activities. Our SCC is committed to organizing a variety of events for staff, students and parents, supporting the goals of the school. Parent and community volunteers at Beaverton P.S. model good citizenship for our students and are an integral part of our school community.
