The St. Timothy School Community is committed to providing a caring, secure, faith-centered learning environment where all individuals are mutually respected and prepared for the future.
At the present time we are a school population of 538 Catholic students. The property is bordered by Ireland Park on the west and Notre Dame Catholic Secondary School to the north-west. We are a Kindergarten to Grade 8 school, with full day Kindergarten as of September 2010. Our students are encouraged to be faith centered individuals committed to life long learning, academic excellence, and to be proud of their skills and proud to be active participants in their community, demonstrating the lessons of their faith.
Our teachers have a range of experiences and offer their talents in several capacities outside of the classroom to support a number of activities. Volleyball, basketball, yearbook, choir, battle of the books, All Star Reading club, chess club and scrabble club are just a few of our extra-curricular activities.
Our families help to support our school throughout the year by volunteering, offering suggestions and supporting our many endeavors. Their collective efforts and generosity continue to support student success and foster a deep sense of cohesiveness within our community.
Our daily actions are in keeping with our mission statement, “Together with home, church and community, St. Timothy School is dedicated to fostering through Catholic values, responsible life-long learners, respectful of themselves and others, who are caring contributing members of society.” Being a part of this recognizable Catholic School Community encourages all that go forth to share this mission and become living witnesses to our faith.
