About St Aidan Catholic ES

St. Aidan Catholic School is an elementary school of approximately 490 students, of diverse social and ethnic backgrounds, from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 8. The school, located at 34 Buick Boulevard in northwestern Brampton, opened in 2007 and belongs to Guardian Angels Parish. The school's patron saint, St. Aidan, was a seventh-century Irish monk who established a monastery off the north coast of England, where he spread the Gospel, educated monasteries and evangelized the people. St. Aidan Catholic School is a caring school community that stresses tolerance and acceptance of others, commitment to our Catholic faith and high academic standards. We provide a safe and comfortable learning environment where models of Gospel values and Catholic doctrines, teachings and beliefs are an integral part of the daily life of our school. All activities at St. Aidan School help to prepare our students for their lives as Catholics in the community.

St Aidan Catholic ES is located in Fletcher's Meadow

The Fletcher's Meadow neighbourhood is in northwest Brampton. This is a newer development, from the early 2000s, and ongoing. Housing is mainly large, 2-storey single-detached homes and townhomes. The area features schools, a shopping plaza, as well as trails and plenty of green space in its parks and the natural wooded areas along Fletcher Creek. Fletcher's Meadow includes the Mt. Pleasant GO station and Mount Pleasant Village, an “urban transit village,” developed around and based on transit and active transportation, including cycling. The Village is centred around a community centre and library and features a public square framed by a three-storey row of live-work units that are accommodating commercial and service space.
