About Milliken Mills PS

Milliken Mills P.S. is named after the post office that was established nearby in 1858 and named Milliken after early settler Norman Milliken. The school site is located on the former Massey Ferguson Experimental Farm. It is adjacent to lovely Risebrough Park. Our school motto is "Together We're Better."

Milliken Mills West is a large, mainly commercial neighbourhood in southwest Markham. The residential area in the southeast, east of Warden Ave., features mostly single-detached, two-storey homes built in the 1980s, on narrow lots. Much of the neighbourhood is light industrial and commercial, and also features some retail areas and eateries.
