Principal's Message

​Here at Bur Oak Secondary School, we are committed to supporting student achievement and well-being through various engaging opportunities that meet individual student learning needs.  BOSS is an active and exciting learning environment where students are able to choose to participate in various clubs, committees, and athletic teams to ensure their secondary school experience is both enjoyable and memorable.   The dedicated staff at BOSS also continue to ensure that our students receive the academic support that they need by implementing effective and engaging instructional strategies, using clear and achievable assessment and evaluation practices, and providing extra support and guidance when needed.

The BOSS community is a place of diversity where our student and staff population is rich in various cultures, backgrounds, beliefs, identities, expertise, and experiences. We value and respect each other and continue to learn from one another on a daily basis. At BOSS, we want every one of our students to feel safe, included, valued, and supported. It is within this inclusive environment where our students become young men and women of good character with strong academic skills to take them into the next chapter of their lives.
