W.I. Dick Middle School is an exciting place to be! Students are encouraged to make the most of their time at our school and get involved. There are many clubs, teams, activities, leadership and learning opportunities available throughout the year. 

High Performance Flexible Timetable Classes

The Halton District School Board recognizes that many students are pursuing excellence in athletics or the arts and that those commitments may take them out of school on a regular basis for competition or training purposes. The High Performance Flexible Timetable classes based in Milton at WI Dick Middle School offer students in grade 6, 7 and 8 an opportunity to find a balance in meeting their training and educational needs.

Students are expected to meet the following requirements to be considered for the High Performance Flexible Timetable Classes.

• Be in (or entering) grades 6, 7 or 8
• Performing or Competing at the Provincial, National level or International Level
• Have a secured training/competition or rehearsal schedule that takes them away from school during traditional school hours. A minimum of 10 hours of training during traditional school hours must be demonstrated. A confirmation from the company/club or coach will be required.
• Travel extensively to meet training/competition or rehearsal dates
• Be committed to meeting academic expectations and deadlines
