The Mountain View neighbourhood is an older neighbourhood in Milton, close to the downtown area, as it is tucked between the Old Milton and Dorset Park neighbourhoods. Mountain View was named for the views of the Niagara Escarpment. Homes in this area have larger lots than in some of Milton's newer developments, and sit on streets lined with mature trees. Housing is varied in its architectural style and age. A commercial area is located in the northern corner.
