Applewood Acres Secondary School​​ is a secondary school for students aged 14 to 21 who have developmental disabilities. The school​ community is committed to working collaboratively to enable our students to reach their potential as they move towards independence with dignity in the community.

To realize this goal, our caring, dedicated and professional staff focus on abilities and treat students with dignity and respect. Individual programming for each student supports learning and growth towards independence. Diverse learning environments are created within classrooms to meet student needs. Knowledgeable support staff and connections with community agencies assist students and families. Open, ongoing communication and collaboration with parents and/or guardians enable us to share information and work together to promote student success.
