Artesian Drive Public School is a collaborative community of learners that encourages success and growth in a positive, caring and safe learning environment. Open since 2004, Artesian Drive is a kindergarten to grade 5 school in west Mississauga, with a French immersion program that began in the 2011-2012 school year. Both students and staff model excitement, motivation and love for learning. Extracurricular opportunities for students at the school are many and varied, including sports, drama, music, and academic clubs and teams. Student leadership is an important focus, with the goal being to nurture citizens of the 21st century, able to foster social justice for all. Artesian Drive has a strong and supportive community. There are a variety of opportunities for parents to get involved with learning, through volunteering in the school, attending information sessions and school concerts.
Churchill Meadows is located on Mississauga's western boundary, adjacent to Milton, with very close access to Highways 403 and 407. It is one of Mississauga's newer neighbourhoods, with development beginning in the late 1990s and still ongoing. Housing is mostly single-detached homes, as well as many condo townhomes. A commercial, services, and sports facility area lies in the south part of Churchill Meadows, on the other side of Highway 403.
