The Clarkson neighbourhood is in southwest Mississauga, and is one of Mississauga's oldest communities. Lake Ontario forms its southeast border. Clarkson features a number of parklands, green spaces, and trails, including a conservation area bordering the lake. Housing is varied, with very large, luxury estate homes in some areas, and with large areas of older, single detached homes in a variety of styles, as well as townhomes and row housing. Services and commercial areas are located conveniently throughout the neighbourhood, with many along the Queen Elizabeth Way.
