The village of Cooksville is located is south central Mississauga, south of the City Centre and the Square One Mall area. Cooksville features a large baseball facility, parklands, a hospital, library, and schools. The population of this neighbourhood is very diverse, ethnically. Housing is also diverse: there are many high-rise condos along Hurontario St and at Dundas, as well as areas of newer townhome condos, and there are also older single-detached homes, built in the late 1980s and 1990s. Cooksville is the main transportation hub in Mississauga, with GO Transit rail and bus service and express city buses to Toronto Union Station, and there is easy access to Highway 401.
