At Edenrose Public School, our mission is, “Our diverse learning community encourages and supports academic excellence and personal achievement.” Our vision for Edenrose is to have a respectful community of lifelong learners who are responsible and engaged in achieving personal successes.

We are focused on educating the whole child and as such, our students have excellent literacy and numeracy skills. Our motto, as seen as part of our mission statement, is Reason, Respect and Responsibility, which forms the foundation of our character education and daily, school life.

We, as a learning community, support extracurricular activities for all of our students as well as leadership opportunities for our junior students. Throughout the year, our students enjoy opportunities to become involved in various clubs, intra-mural and varsity sports teams. Our clubs include a chess club, knitting club and a PALS program, to name a few. Our intra-mural and varsity teams reflect the various sports that students are learning throughout their physical education classes. Our students have many opportunities to play in tournaments held throughout the Peel board.

Edenrose has an active school council which supports the school success goals and priorities. Our mascot is named OKEE, an owl who is part of all aspects of life at our school. Edenrose fosters an excellent climate for both learning and working.
