MISSION STATEMENT

We are a community of Catholic educators devoted to the spiritual, intellectual, emotional and social development of each child in the image of Christ. We inspire, serve and guide our children to become confident, capable, lifelong learners and productive citizens, who bear witness to Christ’s teachings.

CATHOLIC FOCUS

St. Gregory Catholic School opened its doors in 1998 and was blessed on June 10, 1998. The school was named in honor of St. Gregory the Great, Pope and Doctor of the Church, who called himself a servant of God. His feast day is celebrated on September 3rd. The school population of approximately 550 students reflects a diverse, caring and inclusive community of learners. The school's motto, "We Care, We Share, and We Dare!" encourages students to strive for excellence and empowers them to be confident and independent life-long learners. St. Gregory Catholic School is involved in numerous community and social justice initiatives. The school strives to teach its students to be stewards of faith and of the earth. Last year our school community grew, with the welcoming of the French Immersion community from the closing of St. Gertrude School.
