About Queen Elizabeth Sr PS

Queen Elizabeth Sr. Public School is committed to inspiring our students in recognition of their diverse talents. We promote creativity and individuality through the integration of the arts. Our school provides a safe and engaging learning environment in which to grow personally, socially and academically. Queen Elizabeth Sr. has been serving the community of Mississauga since it opened in 1952. It now serves two distinct communities of students and parents. Our local students are drawn from the Port Credit area, from the lake to just above Dundas Street and our regional arts program draws students from the area south of highway 401.

Queen Elizabeth Sr PS is located in Mineola

The Mineola neighbourhood is in southern Mississauga, between Lakeview and Lorne Park, and with Port Credit to the south. It is close to, but not bordering Lake Ontario. One of Mississauga's oldest neighbourhoods, Mineloa is a stately, well-treed, and well-established area that features some very expensive estate properties, as well as smaller, much older homes from beginning in the 1940s. The area is residential, aside from schools and a few small businesses/services.
