Fairview Public School is a community of learners, with staff, students and parents working together to build a foundation for success in a changing world. We strive to promote and enhance professional practices in literacy, numeracy and technology at all grades. We proactively support the development of learning skills, work habits and citizenship in all students through a comprehensive character education program involving the Peel board’s six character traits and Fairview’s 3 B’s – Be Kind, Be Fair, Be Safe. Fairview is a small residential neighbourhood in central Mississauga, just south of City Centre. Fairview was developed, beginning in the 1980s, as a transitional residential area between City Centre and Cooksville. The neighbourhood has many single-detached homes built in the 1980s and early 1990s, as well as areas of townhomes, some of them from the early 2000s. The area is convenient for city centre amenities, as well as for Highway 403 access.
