About Champlain Trail PS

Our school is named after Samuel de Champlain (1567-1635), a French explorer and navigator who mapped much of north eastern North America and started a settlement in Quebec. Champlain's fame is primarily due to his ability to explore, discover and develop - activities which led him to establish what eventually became Canada. True to our namesake, it is our belief that schools must help students to explore, discover and develop, to promote individual growth academically, physically, socially and emotionally to the limits of the student's potential. Staff at Champlain Trail also value the role that parents play as partners in their child's education and encourage open two-way communication so that the best possible learning opportunities can be provided for each student.

Champlain Trail PS is located in Hurontario
