Owenwood Public School is a vibrant, small school where students, parents and staff come together as a community which cares about learning, shares ideas and resources and dares to help and to try. The Clarkson neighbourhood is in southwest Mississauga, and is one of Mississauga's oldest communities. Lake Ontario forms its southeast border. Clarkson features a number of parklands, green spaces, and trails, including a conservation area bordering the lake. Housing is varied, with very large, luxury estate homes in some areas, and with large areas of older, single detached homes in a variety of styles, as well as townhomes and row housing. Services and commercial areas are located conveniently throughout the neighbourhood, with many along the Queen Elizabeth Way.
