The teachers at Corliss lay the foundations of lifelong learning by nurturing every child’s love of learning, passion to think critically and innate curiosity by exploring 21st century technology. Students are encouraged to explore their creative potential, recognize their unique strengths and pursue their individual learning goals. Teachers at Corliss also foster learning and growth by using differentiated instruction, engaging students in purposeful discussions and providing authentic tasks where students can problem solve and think critically. We believe in strengthening home school relations by regularly communicating with parents and encouraging parents to be involved in classroom activities and school wide events.

Corliss offers many extracurricular programs and activities for students with different hobbies and interests. For students who are passionate about the arts, our school offers an arts and crafts club as well as a primary and junior choir. To complement the physical education programs, our school has a variety of sports teams and clubs including hockey, soccer, basketball, cricket and dodge ball. The Forest of Reading program is a wonderful literacy program for students who love to read and engage in meaningful discussions about books. Our school also offers an OFIP tutoring program for students in grades 1 to 5. The technology team is a unique opportunity for students who are interested in enhancing their skills in computers and technology.
