Meadowvale Village is in north central Mississauga, between Highway 401 in the south and Highway 407 in the north. It lies east of Meadowvale and Meadowvale Business Park. Established in the 1820s by Irish immigrants from New York state, Meadowvale Village was named Ontario’s first Heritage Conservation District in 1980 for its heritage buildings. Homes in this neighbourhood are relatively new for Mississauga, and are mostly large single-detached and semi-detached. The area features a golf course, conservation area and plenty of green, wooded space.
