Forest Avenue Public School is a dynamic school located in a beautiful tree-lined community close to the shores of Lake Ontario. With a history stretching back to 1917, the Forest Avenue community has strong traditions and a large community support network.

Our dedicated and forward thinking staff create learning opportunities that encourage students to attain academic and personal excellence within a supportive, respectful and tolerant environment.

Students are engaged in all aspects of school life through involvement in the many clubs, activities, leadership opportunities, and sports offered at Forest Avenue by our active and involved staff. Students are also encouraged to be global citizens and to find ways to contribute to the broader community through fundraising and outreach programs.

The staff and students are supported by caring and involved parents and by the wider community, whose partnership is one of the cornerstones to the success of the school. Our active school council and large group of volunteers contribute greatly to the success of the school as they work tirelessly to provide additional supports to students at the school.
