The mission of St. Vincent de Paul School is to nurture in our students the love of learning and a love of Christ. Through our own witness to Christ’s teachings, we will challenge each student to strive for personal excellence and explore life’s unlimited possibilities in the context of our Catholic values.

CATHOLIC FOCUS

St. Vincent de Paul School is an elementary school of approximately 180 students of diverse backgrounds, from Kindergarten to Grade 8. At St. Vincent de Paul School, we are committed to developing a desire for lifelong learning while recognizing the uniqueness and the gifts of each individual. St. Vincent de Paul School provides a caring school community environment that promotes commitment to our Catholic faith and high academic standards. We strive to provide a safe learning environment where models of Gospel values and Catholic teachings and beliefs are an integral part of the daily life of our school. Our daily prayers, liturgical celebrations, the sacraments and development of virtues form the foundation of our school program. The curriculum planned and delivered in the school is broad, balanced and relevant to the needs and aspirations of all our students. Ontario Catholic Graduate Expectations and the Virtues Program are integrated in all subjects and learning experiences, which are designed to develop skills, abilities and talents of individual students. Accordingly, appropriate assessment procedures are employed regularly to motivate and encourage student success.
