The Woodland Hill neighbourhood is in Newmarket's northwest corner and is bordered on the north and west sides by farmland. Upper Canada Mall is in the southeast corner of Woodland Hill, and a number of big-box stores, services, and restaurants are located along Yonge Street, which forms the area's eastern boundary. Built in the mid-2000s, Woodland Hill features a mix of large single detached homes, semi-detached homes and townhomes. Development is ongoing.
