The DASS program at Oshawa offers students 17-20 years of age a chance to connect with an education pathway in an alternative setting and to earn a diploma at DASS or return to their community school. The full-time program is offered in 9-week sessions. The Oshawa campus offers full credits and half credits with students taking 3 or 4 classes from Monday to Friday. Courses are offered at the Grade 11 and 12 College, Open, and Workplace levels.
Central Oshawa is a mixed residential and commercial area with easy access to parks and greenspace as well as the many businesses along King Street. There are a wide variety of housing options, ranging from large apartment complexes to single-family homes.
