Seneca Trail Public School serves a population of 530 students in grades K-8 in north Oshawa, Ontario. The Seneca Trail school community is a safe and caring one with a focus on academics, athletics, the arts, and character education. Our school team works collaboratively to emphasize success for each student while encouraging educational experience inside and outside of the classroom.
The Taunton area is in northeast Oshawa, and is a popular neighbourhood, with plenty of newer homes and ongoing development. There are many amenities and services in Taunton, including schools, a large sports centre/arena, a library, a large shopping centre with big-box stores, and restaurants. Taunton also features parks, and natural wooded areas along waterways, with trails. Housing is predominantly single-detached, many of them upscale, 2-storey homes from the 1990s-2000s.
