Alpha High Schools are private co-educational high schools offering grades 9 to 12, and university preparation, in two locations of Richmond Hill & North York, Ontario, Canada. The schools are registered with and inspected by the Ministry of Education. Students who fulfill a grade 12 graduation program will receive a high school graduation diploma issued by the Ministry of Education. We accept local and international students. Credits obtained at Alpha High Schools will be transferred to the students' home country for equivalence. Most of our students go on to college or university after Alpha, many with scholarships.
Mill Pond is a large neighbourhood in Richmond Hill that is host to many heritage homes on fairly large lots. The area is populated by two-storey homes and bungalows, with many backing onto walking trails or parkland. The Richmond Hill Performing Art Centre is within walking distance. The pond itself attracts many visitors and local residents alike, with its lush setting home to a variety of wildlife species including ducks, swans, racoons, and beavers. Each year, Mill Pond is home to the Richmond Hill Winter and Summer Carnivals.
