In this School Guide, you'll find out more about the schools children in this neighbourhood can attend, including public, Catholic, and private schools.
Leaside is right in the centre of the city, but it feels like a village. The area takes its name from William Lea and the Lea family, who settled there in the early years of the nineteenth century. It has developed into a shopping destination filled with boutiques and restaurants that line Bayview Avenue. Demographically, the Leaside community is made up predominantly of single-family homes housing upper-middle-class families. The southern tip of the neighbourhood is known as Bennington Heights.
