In this School Guide, you'll find out more about the schools children in this neighbourhood can attend, including public, Catholic, and private schools.
Prior to the amalgamation of Metropolitan Toronto in 1998, this neighbourhood was part of the city of North York. For the most part, Yorkdale-Glen Park homes tend to date back to the 1950s and 1960s, when developers perfected the uniform vista of bungalows and backsplits. It is a middle-class suburban community of mainly brick houses. In the north end of the neighbourhood is Yorkdale Shopping Centre, one of Canada's busiest malls with 250 retailers.
