HOW WE BEGAN

Rock Community Christian school began as a ministry serving families of Rock Community Church in 2009 with a single class of Kindergarten students.  

Today, RCCS is a non-denominational, private Christian elementary school located in Woodbridge, Ontario.   We currently offer classes for children from Preschool to Grade 7.

OUR PHILOSOPHY OF EDUCATION

At RCCS, we believe the purpose of education is to teach children to understand the truth about life, the world, and their place in it by using God's Word as the lens and standard through which they view all things. As such, all of our curriculum is inter-weaved with Biblical content and is instructed from a Biblical worldview.  

WE BELIEVE

• the HOLY SCRIPTURES were written by men divinely inspired and is God's revelation of Himself to man. 
• in ONE GOD - The eternal triune God reveals Himself to us as Father, Son and Holy Spirit, with distinct personal attributes, but without division of nature, essence, or being. 
• GOD THE FATHER reigns with providential care over His universe, His creatures, and the flow of human history according to the purposes of His grace.
• JESUS CHRIST is the eternal Son of God. In HIs incarnation as Jesus Christ, He was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. In His substitutionary death on the cross, He made provision for the redemption of men from sin.
• The HOLY SPIRIT is the Spirit of God, fully divine, who exalts Christ, convicts men of sin, of righteousness and of judgment. He enlightens and empowers the believer and the church in worship, evangelism, and service.
• MAN WAS MADE IN THE IMAGE OF GOD -  He created them male and female as the crowning work of His creation. By his free choice man sinned against God and brought sin into the human race. Every person of every race possesses dignity and is worthy of respect and Christian love.
