About CE Broughton PS

C. E. Broughton Public School opened in August 1996, offering parents the choice of either a Modified Calendar or a Regular Calendar. The philosophy of C. E. Broughton Public School is expressed in our motto “Loving to Learn - Learning for Life”. Our staff is committed to delivering effective literacy and numeracy programs to provide students with the tools and skills they need to become lifelong learners.

CE Broughton PS is located in Pringle Creek

The Pringle Creek neighbourhood is in central Whitby, just north of the downtown core. It is an older neighbourhood, with housing in a mix of ages and architectural styles, mostly single detached, 2-storey homes, but also areas of high-rise buildings and townhomes. Pringle Creek features many parks and natural areas. A services area is located near the intersection of Rossland Rd and Garden St, and there is a retail/commercial area in the southeast corner.
