Our School

We are the Durham District School Board's newest secondary school! We opened our doors in September of 2015.

Character Education

Character development is the deliberate effort to nurture the universal attributes upon which schools and communities find consensus. These attributes provide a standard for behaviour against which we hold ourselves accountable. Character attributes permeate all that happens in schools, binding us together across the lines that often divide us in society. Character attributes form the basis of our relationships and responsible citizenship. They are a foundation for excellence and equity in education, and create school cultures that are respectful, safe, caring and inclusive. Excellence in education includes character development. Through character, we find common ground.

Clubs and Teams

At Brooklin High School, we feel the extra curricular program is equally as important as the curricular program. We continue to be very interested in offering a wide variety of extra curricular activities for our 1300+ students. Educational research continues to tell us students who are involved in their school are engaged and successful in the classroom.
