Bayshore is a roughly triangular area in southeast Barrie, with its northeastern tip bordering on the south shore of Kempenfelt Bay, and including Wilkins Beach, a small sandy natural beach. The railway line forms its western border. The area has access to Wilkins Walk, a hiking and walking trail. This residential area includes areas of dense housing of single detached homes, with some parks, as well as Bayshore Estates in the southern part of the area, featuring larger properties and homes, and a large woodlot in the southernmost corner.
