Buttonville is a community named after the founder, John Button. Once farmlands, the area is now mixed use, with industrial and commercial properties in the south, and was residential areas that were developed in the northeast section, between 1980 and 2000. The area also includes Buttonville Airport. Buttonville is served by two major highways (407 and 404) and several arterial roads.
