Cedar Grove is in the southeast corner of Markham. It is mainly an area of farmlands and some farm homes, as well as natural woodlands. The Little Rouge River flows through this area. The northwestern corner of the neighbourhood contains a residential area with urban development moving east into Cedar Grove.
