The Legacy residential neighbourhood is in southeast Markham, bordered by Highway 407 in the north, Ninth Line to the east, and the Rouge River to the south and west. The area has plenty of green and forested space, along the river, and open areas in the north. Part of a golf course lies in the southern region. The area is middle- to upper-income, and residences are larger single-family homes.
