The Sherwood - Amberglen residential neighbourhood is in southeast Markham. An older, well-established neighbourhood, the area has parklands and green spaces almost surrounding it, with a commercial area along the northern boundary, which is Highway 7. Most of the housing is single-detached, many on fairly spacious lots, and with mature trees lining most streets. There is also a townhome complex.
