The Armitage neighbourhood, or Armitage Village, is in south central Newmarket. Armitage is a predominantly residential neighbourhood, but also has restaurant, retail and commercial areas in the west, along Yonge Street and along Mulock Drive. The neighbourhood offers plenty of green space and cycling and walking trails. An ecological park is located in the eastern region, and a golf course borders the neighbourhood in the southeast.
