Summerhill Estates is a newer neighbourhood in Newmarket, located in the southwest corner. Development in this area began in the 1990s and is ongoing, but has established parks and schools. The western region borders a conservation area and is still wooded. Housing is a mix of large detached homes on large lots, large 2-storey homes on narrower lots, townhomes, and semi-detached homes. The area has good access to both Highway 400 and Highway 404.
