Claude Watson Arts Program
Experience one of the very best enriched art education programs. We invite students with a demonstrated talent in dance, drama, music, film arts, and visual arts to an audition. Students divide their day between rigorous academic classes and our extensive arts program taught by skilled teachers and guest artists. Our students perform in provincial, national, and international competitions. The program promotes creative expression, inspires excellence and instills artistic discipline in a supportive, collaborative, and challenging environment.

Enrichment Program
Earl Haig offers an enrichment program in English, Math, Social Sciences, French, and Science from grades 9 to 11. These courses provide students with additional challenges and opportunities for independent learning, in addition to expanding your critical and analytical thinking skills.
Student Success Program
This program is focused on assisting students who require additional support by providing learning skills, credit recovery or rescue, and tutoring support. Students receive assistance in the development of study skills and organizational and time management skills. This program uses a preventative model to ensure both credit accumulation and skill development.
Cooperative Education Program
This program integrates academic study with practical experience in business and industry. This learning experience helps students make informed decisions about future careers. Students also develop the work habits, attitudes, and job skills necessary for a successful transition from secondary school to the workplace or post-secondary education.
Computer and Information Technology
Earl Haig Computer Studies and ICT programs provide opportunities for students to prepare for future careers in ICT. Courses focus on transferable skills, concepts of critical thinking, problem solving, independent study and labour market information to enhance transitions to employment and post-secondary learning.

Student Life - Where You Belong
Earl Haig students have great opportunities to develop leadership skills and have fun. Earl Haig offers more than 75 clubs and councils, as well a wide range of sports teams. Students help to organize our Dance Nights, art shows, Coffee House, and Zoom Film Festival. They perform or attend our Music Showcase, One-Act plays, Symphony and Jazz Nights. Earl Haig's Athletic Program offers a wide range from traditional sports to specialized activities such as rugby, martial arts training, golf, boys' and girls' hockey, and ultimate frisbee. Earl Haig's intensive extra-curricular learning programs heighten awareness, appreciation and concern for global issues and the environment. Enriched overseas experiences are available for travel to other countries and we host international students through exchange programs to increase their understanding and awareness of global issues. Cultural and arts studies are offered on our annual trips to Greece, Italy, and New York. We have established international connections with China, England, France, Holland, Hong Kong, Korea, Japan, Mexico, and Taiwan.
