Grenoble P.S. is a dynamic, community based school that is committed to the principles of academic excellence, safety, equity, partnerships, and collaboration. Grenoble P.S. has won the prestigious National Quality Institute's Award of Merit as a Canadian school demonstrating excellence. The staff serves approximately 900 students - J.K. to Grade 6 with Jr. Extended French - in the Flemingdon Park area. Approximately 93% of the students and/or their parents have immigrated to Canada. In excess of seventy-three different languages are represented at the school.

School Yard/Playground Renovation: Joint project between TDSB, Parks & Rec and FPPA.
Snack Program: Organized by Teachers, maintained every day by a team of dedicated parents and enjoyed by the kids each day (basically they provide the kids with a snack that covers three food groups mid morning).
Eco-schools Silver Certification.
Wynford-Montage Partnership: 08-09 Gym Renovation Project, 09-10 Courtyard Renovation Project
Expansion of HIPPY Program that supports families of pre-school children with literacy supports.
Implementation of School-wide/Grade Team Approach to DPA-we meet outside each day for some school community time where everybody completes DPA activities together. Grade teams take turns leading the children through aerobic/dance routines as part of DPA program.
Parent and Community Engagement
In the school, we provide our families access to an extensive variety of community services: International Languages classes, Flemingdon Health Centre, Hincks-Dellcrest Centre, Settlement Worker (S.E.P.T.) - providing support to families new to the school community and / or the country, Queen's University Faculty of Education teacher training program Early Years Parenting Centre, pro-active School Council (S.P.A.C. - School Parent Advisory Council), parent-operated SNACK program providing a nutritious daily snack for students, Institute of Canadian Citizenship, Champion’s Daycare
